REEL 02 · THE UNIT

Knurled dial.
Numbered level.

You see the exact number you're using. Every single time.

Why TACTIX 2

Four things
the cheap ones
can't copy.

01 / RANGE

4,200 feet of leash

Line of sight. Beaches, trails, back fields, the far end of the park. Distance stops deciding what your dog is allowed to do.

02 / PRECISION

Levels, not guesswork

A numbered 0–99 readout means you find the lowest setting your dog notices — and stay there. Precision is the kind part.

03 / SEALED

IPX7. Nothing gets in

Rain, river, lake, bath. The dog picks where training happens. The receiver doesn't get a vote and doesn't quit.

04 / POWER

Two hours, then gone all day

Magnetic contacts, USB-C, no fragile port. Charges off the same brick as your phone, laptop, or the power bank in the car.

REEL 03 · RANGE

Past the tree
line. Still linked.

4,200 ft, line of sight. Roughly three quarters of a mile of open ground.

02 / Sealed unit

IPX7

Let him
get wet.

A trainer that fails at the lake fails at the exact moment you need it. The TACTIX 2 receiver is sealed to IPX7 — submersion-rated, not just splash-resistant.

Swimming

REEL 04 · IPX7

Straight in.
Straight out.

Submersion-rated. Not "keep it away from puddles" rated.

03 / Four modes

Start soft.
Stay soft.

Most owners never leave the first two. That's the point — you begin with the gentlest signal that gets attention and only move if you have to.

01

Tone

An audible marker. Pair it with a treat for a week and it becomes your recall cue at 400 yards.

02

Vibration

A tap on the shoulder for a dog locked onto a squirrel. Works in wind, water and noise where your voice won't.

03

Light

Keeps him visible after dark. The reflective strap does the rest when headlights hit.

04

Static

Adjustable 0–99 and locked behind the keypad lock. Reserve it for genuine safety situations, at the lowest level that works.

Use it the right way. Fit two fingers under the strap, never leave the receiver on longer than about 8–10 hours at a stretch, and reposition it during the day. If you're new to remote training, work with a qualified trainer before using static mode at all. Check your local rules too — remote e-collars are restricted or banned in some countries and regions.

REEL 05 · IN USE

One hand.
Eyes on the dog.

Separated key banks and a knurled dial. Operable without looking down.

04 / Power

Charged
before the
kettle boils.

Two hours to full over USB-C. Magnetic charge contacts on the receiver, so there's no rubber flap to tear and no port to corrode. Top it up from whatever you already own.

REEL 06 · THE POINT

A bigger
world for him.

Freedom you can actually give, because you can call it back.

Straight answers

The questions
you'd ask
anyway.

Used properly, no. Tone and vibration are the default modes and most owners stay there permanently. Static is adjustable from 0 and locked behind a keypad lock. The rule is simple: find the lowest level your dog reacts to and never go above it. Pain doesn't teach — attention does. If you're new to remote training, work with a qualified trainer first.

It's the line-of-sight figure — open ground, nothing between you and the receiver. In dense woodland, around buildings, or over hills you'll get less. Every remote trainer on the market works this way. We'd rather tell you plainly than pretend otherwise.

The receiver is IPX7 — rated for full submersion, not just splashes. Lakes, rivers, baths, downpours. Rinse it under the tap after a muddy walk. Keep the handheld transmitter out of the water; it's the receiver that goes swimming.

The adjustable reflective nylon strap covers small breeds through to large working dogs. Fit test: two fingers should slide under the strap comfortably. Too loose and the contacts won't reach; too tight and it will irritate the skin.

Around 8–10 hours at a stretch, then take it off. Reposition it slightly through the day and check the skin underneath. Overnight wear isn't recommended for any collar of this kind.

Orders are picked and dispatched on business days, with tracking emailed the moment your parcel leaves. Delivery windows and carrier options are confirmed at checkout for your address. Full details are on our shipping page.

Our returns and warranty terms are published in full on the store's policy pages, and support is one email away if anything arrives faulty. Read them before you order so there are no surprises either way.

Remote training collars are restricted or banned in some countries and regions — parts of the UK, Germany, Austria and Australia among them, and rules change. Check your local legislation before ordering. It's your responsibility, and we'd rather you knew up front.
